Share your thoughts on how to improve gender-based violence education in schools!
We are looking for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies in grades 7-12, or those who have recently graduated high school who are in the first year of university and are between 12 and 20 years old in Newfoundland and Labrador ​to participate in either a virtual or in-person one-on-one interview for a project called Empowering Educators and Peers to Reduce GBV (gender-based violence) Experienced by 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth in NL. 
This project aims to understand how gender-based violence (GBV) education can be improved for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are asking interview participants to share their views about the barriers and facilitators of implementing GBV education and prevention efforts in schools.
Participation is completely voluntary, and participants will receive a $50 honorarium for their participation.
We especially welcome 2SLGBTQIA+ youth who are Black, Indigenous, and people of color, and/or who live in rural or remote areas.
