From right here in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nikki has been a leading member of the Camp Eclipse Leadership Team as well as Camp Coordinator in both 2014 and 2017. Nikki joined Planned Parenthood as Executive Director in early July 2018. Nikki has a B.Arts in Anthropology (Physical/evolutionary) and German Language and Culture as well as a Diploma in Medical Office Administration.

Nikki is a great supporter of non-profits and has volunteered with many organizations. She has always believed that the work done at PPNLSHC is incredibly important. The safer space, sex positive, feminist, non-judgmental environment that Planned Parenthood has succeeded to create in our community was a major draw for Nikki. She is beyond excited to help foster more growth and innovation as Executive Director.
Shannon became a volunteer with Planned Parenthood in the fall of 2017. She began the role of Client Services Coordinator in late September 2018. Shannon has a B.Sc in Biology and an M.Sc (Medicine) in Clinical Epidemiology. After doing a graduate thesis project focusing on patient quality of life, Shannon knew she wanted to pursue a career that involved helping people on a daily basis.

Planned Parenthood - Newfoundland and Labrador Sexual Health Centre is an organization that Shannon has always supported and is excited to be a part of. Promoting healthy sexual education and safer sex practices is so important and she loves that Planned Parenthood is a safe and welcoming place for all to avail of these services.
Alana has been working as a Child and Youth Care Worker since 2019. In September of 2018 she completed her first work term with Planned Parenthood and adored the work she did therefore stayed with us as a volunteer. In October of 2020 Alana began working as the Education Coordinator for PPNLSHC.

Alana works from a strength based approach, while also focusing on harm reduction. Promoting safe sex and healthy relationships is a passion and she is eager to continue community outreach and educating as many individuals as possible.
